Afterwork
Rendering Anamnesis
Reading and writing are my coping mechanisms. I often enjoy finding my inspiration from writing in a journal and a poem, which evoke personal nostalgic feelings. After publishing and crafting the first poem illustration booklet, Rendering Anamnesis, I participated in the Chiswick OpenArt Space in May 2025.

Dear Mom,

When I was younger, you would always talk about how beautiful math is—showing me equations, trying to explain how even a heart could be drawn through numbers. Back then, I didn’t understand why you tried so hard to teach me, even bribing me with chocolate.
But now, I see it clearly. Even though we’re such different people, your love has always been constant, patient and unconditional. As I’ve grown older, I’ve come to respect you in ways I never could have imagined back then.

Dear Dad,

Your pen gifts were not only practical but also visually resplendent.
I used to keep them tucked away, saving them for moments when I needed extra confidence and a reminder of you.
Those pens were little talismans of support. I know you’ve always hoped I’d be book smart. But thanks to you, I think I’ve become pen-smart too!
